From Kindergarten through high school, students at
Drama - From our original Seeds of Liberty drama, to our popular Individuality of Nations celebration and our annual Shakespeare Festival, Valeo events are unlike any others. Through elaborate research projects and displays, singing in various languages, making costumes and sets, and managing lighting, sound and hospitality, the gifts, talents and strengths that God has placed in each child are encouraged and nurtured.
Music - At Valeo Academy, students learn the basic elements of music and their application in various genres of music throughout history. Musical instruction includes music theory, history, various composers and styles/genres, and music appreciation. In addition, Valeo students learn to put the principles of music in to practice through vocal instruction and preparation of classical choral works.
Art - From Giotto to Degas, Renoir to DaVinci; from paintings to sculptures, and drawing to printmaking, Valeo students learn the people, techniques, and forms of art throughout history. Special focus is given on the different artistic expressions and the Biblical Principles found in the lives of artists and their works.
